"UEFOs are real?" 👽 I plan to study Urban Sustainability at the University of Eastern Finland as part of the YUFE Alliance program. I’m raising funds for myself and my classmates to attend the TU Delft University of Technology Summer School on Planning & Design for the Just City in the summer of 2026/2027/2028. Many of us will be from Sub-Saharan Africa and India, and the funds will help cover our accommodation in Delft. Once my place is confirmed, I will be setting up a club at UEF, HURB (The Hector Urban Sustainability Club), in honor of a beautiful family man from Medellín, Hector Abad Gómez, who was tragically assassinated in 1987. This club is named to honor his work on improving sanitation and contributing to urban sustainability in #medellin, a city renowned for its livability and transport system. My long-term goal is to support the bottom billion by improving urban sustainability in Sub-Saharan Africa, working closely with UEF, the Karelia region, and Finland.
