Are you ready to seal the deal? 🦭 Back in the 18th century, Finland’s economic stability, low disease, and lack of conflict death rates, birth rates outpaced much of Europe. Today, with a low cost of living relative to earnings, I think we can recreate that success—minus the old Eastern Finnish tradition of sons staying in their parents’ homes after marriage. Here’s why this matters: Finland, like much of Europe, is facing a population decline. Without a thriving, sustainable population, we can’t support our growing aging demographic. I’m gearing up to study urban sustainability, but Houston, we’ve got a bigger issue—national sustainability. To thrive and stay sustainable, it’s time to seal the deal. What do you think?
